The man who started ScapeLand Orlando, Mr. Markinson, was an ambitious and hard working gardener in Orlando for about 13 years already. He started his company in 2001 and was able to call himself a "lucky beginner". With the support of his brilliant family it took him only 12 months to become profitable and to hire the first employees.

Today, after 12 years of being in business, ScapeLand Orlando is one of the leading national landscaping companies and is recommend by many journals and newspaper.
